Evlogia Teleti 2020-21

“They must often change, who would be constant in happiness or wisdom.” – Confucius

As we celebrated the EVLOGIA TELETI meaning Celebrating Blessings, bidding farewell to the Grade 10 batch of 2020-21, we look back to cherish
how this batch of students have drawn an extraordinary and exceptional impact on the Hope Academy Family.

The Grade 10 batch of 2020-21 has been a roller coaster of both chaos and blessings as they experienced the first pandemic, embraced the first online mode of learning, and even losing loved ones and a dear classmate.
A batch where most of them have grown in the academy since Kindergarten, muddling and striving towards excellence and becoming a family, building lifetime camaraderie and friendship amongst them and the Academy.
This was a tremendous batch of competent students who were not only proficient in their academics but equally skillful in other co-curricular
activities especially sports and creating chaos in the classroom.

As their Class Teacher Miss Papiya would say, “Your class was the only class where both boys and girls were rowdy, where teachers find football instead of books, where bookshelves were never organized, where tears rolled down with emotions and anger when they were divided into sections, and the only class with several complaints from teachers!“, this was a batch that rocked the environment of the school both with their active naughtiness as well as their academic excellence.

Miss Ashi began the event by mentioning how blessed we all are to be experiencing and weathering this historical pandemic and life’s transitions and transformation.

The outgoing students shared their gratitude to the administration, faculty, and staff, and the junior and senior students for being a part of their journey of pursuing proficiency in their academic progress.

Our Principal Madam Sashila Ozukum exhorted the outgoing students never to forget the strong bond of friendship they have built amongst themselves
over the years and to keep God at the center of their lives as they embark on their new journey and adventure of exploring their further studies where some of them are moving to other institutions.

She expressed how most of them as kindergartners have grown up as her own children and to see them achieving excellence is a pride and joy for her and the school. Furthermore reminding the students to be Alumni of the Academy and grow up to be responsible citizens of the society.

We sincerely remembered and gave honor to our Dear Andre who bid us goodbye to be in Heaven; with tears and heartbreaks, everyone recalled how
Andre was “the light and joy” of the Hope Academy family, especially for the Grade 10 batch.

A heart-touching moment of pouring out love and affection for Andre was felt amid Evlogia Teleti; a moment that would stay forever in the catalogs
of Hope Academy.

The event was marked by benediction by our School Manager, Sir. Wapang, blessing the students with prayer.

Principal Hope Academy Congratulates Grade 10 (2020-2021) Batch (The Stellars)

Madam Sashi

Principal, hope Academy

Greetings Stellars!

"Winning means you’re doing better than you’ve ever done before" and you all have shown it by efficiently excelling in the Grade 10 finals!
Most of you grew up with me as kindergarteners and to see you mature and unwind your potentials, talents, and skills is equally overwhelming as well as bliss.
The norms and transitions in the CBSE structure of examination due to the pandemic might have been heart-wrenching as well but I want you to take it as a blessing for you to learn the realities of life and how to embrace challenges and evolutions.
As we create history through the pandemic with untold and inexpressible changes and transformation, you have stood up against all odds and did the best you all can in your academics, I stand proud, delighted, and grateful.
“There are always new, grander challenges to confront, and a true winner will embrace each one.” —Mia Hamm said, therefore, look forward to greater heights from here on and do the best you can in the race ahead.
My love and prayers will forever remain for you Stellars.

Congratulations!
Sashizungla Ao
Principal.

Principal Hope Academy Congratulates Grade 10 (2019-2020) Batch (Auteurs)

Madam Sashi

Principal, hope Academy

My dear Auteurs ( Gd10 2019-2020 batch )
Congratulations !!!
The fact that you can read this is proof that you are blessed and have been privileged highly to be able to read, write, understand, and excel!
Imagine the number of children like you who are less privileged and will not be able to do what you can do today and what you will be able to do from here on.
Passing out 10th is a milestone achieved and I am the proudest Principal to see all of you performing tremendously well after overcoming every struggle and challenge. For me, each one of you has excelled and has made the Academy proud, no matter how much you scored subject wise. What matters most is that you all are going to start striving for many milestones from now onwards.
Joshua Shenk in one of his excellent articles wrote about research that traced the lives of students which included unbelievable changes; many students who started off brilliantly fizzled out and developed problems; some who began with problems worked on them and achieved successfully. Likewise, your 10th results don't determine your future but your efforts towards being a responsible student from your 11th will determine your success in life.
Encouraging you all, along with my happiness expressed, I want to bless you with the Word of God from the Holy Bible:
“Eye has not seen, nor ears heard,
Nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him” 1 Corinthians 2:9
Abide in God's love.
Thank you for uplifting our Academy.
God bless you all.

With much love,
Madam Sashi( Principal).

The most awaited competition of the year, Inter-School Rock Band Competition ‘Melomania 2019’ held on 17 August 2019 at IMC hall was organized by Hope Academy and sponsored by White Hope Society to promote excellence in music. ‘Melomania’ is a dream project of Mrs. Sashizungla Ao, Founder & Principal of Hope Academy Dimapur and Mr. Purkumzuk, Head Music Teacher of Hope Academy.

People from Nagaland are gifted in the sphere of music. It’s not uncommon to notice that from an early age. People from Nagaland are made for music – “It’s in our blood, it’s in our genes”.

There are lots of young musicians in Nagaland, but they are not getting the platform to showcase their talent. So, Melomania 2019 was organized to recognize and promote the unique talents of school students in the field of music and this event will be organized every year.
